Frequently Asked Questions
When do class sign ups start?
Classes run in 8 week long sessions. The new session of classes will become available for registration about 4 weeks before the first day of class. Sign up for the email list to be the first to find out when new classes and workshops become available. You can sign up for the waitlist for full classes in case of a cancellation.
I don't see any upcoming workshops, when will new workshops be available?
Workshops are posted sporadically and usually happen once or twice per month. Signing up for the email list is the best way to find out about new workshops.
Can I come to the studio to browse and shop for pottery?
The studio does not currently have a retail store. Keep an eye out for seasonal studio sales!
This is my first pottery class. What should I wear and bring with me?
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. You are welcome to bring a towel to dry your hands. All students who are enrolled in an eight week class are required to bring their own 'basic pottery tool' kit. These are available for purchase at the studio, or you can find them online and at local pottery supply stores.
Can I schedule a private class or event for bithdays, corporate, or just for fun?
Yes! Please send an email to mudhousepotterystudio@gmail.com and we will work with you to create a custom experience that will meet your needs. Our studio can accommodate 10-15 people per event.
Where do I park for class?
There is no dedicated parking for the pottery studio. There is street parking available on E Wells Street, Light Street, and Johnson Street along Riverside Park. Please read street signs carefully to ensure you are parking legally and arrive with enough time before class to find a spot.
